The Planet Mark™ event to shine spotlight on business and 'Global Goals'
The UN Sustainable Development Goals, aka 'Global Goals', were launched in 2015 and have been described as the “greatest economic opportunity of a lifetime” by CEO of Unilever, Paul Polman. But what do they really mean for business? And how can you and your business be part of them?
The Planet Mark™ is planning to hold an event for 150 guests focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), what they mean for business and how they are helping change the world for the better.
The UK Government is a signatory of the Global Goals and it is estimated the SDGs could create a $12 trillion economic opportunity by 2030.
The Planet Mark™ will be inviting speakers from across the political, business, NGO and entertainment world to speak about latest developments at policy level, the challenges and opportunities for businesses, as well as what is being done to raise awareness about the SDGs at business and societal level. The Planet Mark™ will also be making an announcement about how it can help its customers report meaningfully on the SDGs and communicate action on them.
Who will be there?
An invited audience of The Planet Mark™ customer base and contacts across many sectors and many business sizes from small SMEs to large corporates. The attendees invited will be CEOs, COOs, CFOs and other director level business leaders.
